PURPOSE

The population of old people has increased sharply in recent years and social changes have been taking place rapidly in Japan.Environment surrounding old people is very sereve and it is very difficult for the aged to adjust themselves to rapid soscial changes. So,there is necessity to improve the abilities and skill of old people so that they can attend social activities and lead a useful and tasteful life in a present society.For this purpose,Hyogo Inamino Senior Citizens' College(college for Senior Citizen)was established in 1969 by Hyogo Prefectural Goverment.Inamino College is a synthetic and systematic educational institution to conduct a lifelong education for the old.At present this institution is managed by‘Hyogo Association for Senior Citizens Enrichment,’which was founded in September,1977.


HISTORY OF INAMINO COLLEGE
June 13,1969 Inamino College was founded in Kakogawa by Hyogo Prefectural Govenment.
April 1,1977 THe training course for leaders(Two-year Graduate School)was founded,and Hyogo Radio College for Senior Citizens was established.
September 24,1977 Hyogo Association for Senior Citizens Enrichment was founded.
April 1,1979 Nature Course was abolished and Culture Course was established.
May 7,1979 The sister-school affiliation with Golden Gate Institution in San Francisco in the United States of America was formed.
November 22,1979 The tenth anniversary ceremony of Inamino College was held.
